Johns Class - Documentaries





Sir David Frederick Attenborugh, is a broadcaster / naturalist. He has been documentarian for 50 years, creating hundreds of documentaries on natural life such as animals, habitat and insects. Before he was a  presenter he was in the navy, clearly a  man of many talents.  During world war 2  his parents adopted two jewish girls, that making the total in the house being 7, himself, his mother, father, elder and younger brother.





Ross Kemp, is another                                                                                                                                                                                                                          documentarian also he is a 'BAFTA' award winning actor, he is famous for his role in Eastenders, and also for his documentary on gangs ( ROSS KEMP ON:GANGS). He also had done journalism in Afghanistan, on a  five episode series.



Ric O'Barry he is a  documentarian, first recognized when he trained 5 dolphins for the Film Flipper.
He then began a  campaign to Release captivated dolphins.
He was then involved in the production of the award wining film the 'THE COVE'.
The cove was a  film made about how there is 2,000 dolphins killed every year in japan.





Bear Grylls, has a series of documentaries on survival skills. He was in the Gunniess world book of records in 1998, Due to him being the youngest British person o climb everest.
He is also currently the chief scout leader, in charge of many tasks which the Scouting organization brings up. As i am a  young leader i can talk quite a lot about the Scouting organization, such as the different sections and age groups. such as: Beavers ( 5-7 Years old) Cubs (7-10 Years old) Scouts (10-14 years old) Explorers (14-18 years old). Then you move on the your basic adult leader training carrying on what you have learnt through out the sections.
